Snow in Georgia and Dr.'s appt. update

Hi family and friends,
Today was exciting b/c it actually snowed tonight (which it hasn't done in Georgia for a few years.) When Denis woke up from his nap, I had him look out the window at the snowflakes falling. The last time he saw snow was in Canada last Christmas (2006), so he was excited. It was cute to see him looking out the window with a big smile on his face. He didn't get up from his nap until 6:00, so it was already dark outside and a little hard to see, so I bundled him all up and we played outside for a little bit. (I knew the snow would probably be gone by morning, so I decided to get out there tonight.) By the time I got all the layers on him, the snow stopped falling, but there was enough on the ground to discover and attempt at building a mini-snowman. I said "attempt" b/c it didn't work out very well. It kept falling apart and we didn't have Daddy there to help add his Canadian expertise on how to make it stick together. But we had fun playing in the dark in the snow anyway.

I promised an update on my dr.'s visit today. Everything went well--I did progress a little bit--today I was 2-3 cm dialated and 75% effaced, so who knows when little Amélie will arrive--but it will be soon. Only 10 days left until the due date. I didn't get a pic of me tonight, but here are some pics from Denis' snow adventure.

Until next time,
Nicole
