The doctor said I am 2 cm. dialated and 50% effaced, and that the baby's head is coming down further. She said I can really go any time, so we'll see. I was looking at my journal from when I was pregnant with Denis and when I was at this stage of progression with him, I delivered 10 days later! So she might be here as early as next week! Only God knows when He's ready to introduce her to the world. I can't wait to find out when that will be!
We keep asking Denis if he wants a little sister and he responds in a matter of fact manner, "No". But when we ask him if he wants to see Amélie, he says, "Oui!" with so much excitement in his voice. Tonight, when Don was putting Denis to bed, he told Denis, "You're going to have a little sister and her name is Amélie." and he responded, "Amélie pour Maman?" (meaning Amélie for Mommy?) and Don said, "Yes, and Amélie for you, too!!" So, we think he's getting it. He's also becoming more interested in his belly button now because he looks at mine and then points at his. He's mentioned a few times that his belly button is a baby--oh well, I guess he can't understand everything. :-)
Here are some pictures from this past weekend at Yaya and Papou's house. Denis has discovered how to smile for the camera--although it can be a little exaggerated (he also likes to clap at the same time).

Hi Nicoletta and Don, Wow it won't be long now. Dad and I can't wait to see Amelie. It is fun to see Denis opening his Christmas presents. Can you believe Amelie will probably be almost walking this time next year. We are all very excited to have another little girl in our family. God has truly blessed us all and we are very greatful.
Love ya Mom and Dad
